Fort Wayne Area Teachers - Got T 'n T?
The "T 'n T Project" is designed to create a community of colleagues to explore the dynamics of teaching and learning at a distance and to share their experiences and questions, whether in the context of a "face to face" course, an online class, or TV/video format. The goal is to begin a web-accessible database of practical "tips and tactics" that faculty have found to be successful in achieving teaching and learning objectives when teaching in a distance delivery mode.
You are invited to post a tip or tactic here on the CELT blog.
Here's an example contributed by Worth Weller of the English & Linguistics Department, IPFW. http://www.ipfw.edu/celt/tnt/tnt_weller.htm Worth's goal was to get students to collaborate and to spend more time writing. He presented his idea on April 1, 2005. A streamed video of his talk should be available here soon (we've got to re-establish the link).
